Noyanland.com was established in 2016 out of passion for exclusive kinds of wine from unknown winemaking countries, made from indigenous grape varieties. At the moment, we offer high quality wines from locally well-known wine houses in Armenia, premium class Armenian Ararat Brandy, and ultra-premium class vodka.
The climatological environment conditions are ideal for cultivating endemic grape varieties. The wine houses cooperating with Noyanland.com emphasise the quality of their wines and mainly cultivate indigenous, non-grafted grape varieties. Our range also contains organic wines.
Armenian wine regions are sun-drenched and the soil is rich in minerals, resulting in high quality grapes being cultivated there. The high content of sugar in the grapes makes it possible to obtain high quality wines and distilled beverages, such as brandy.
In the Armenian vineyards, very old productive vines can still be found. Some vines are as old as 100 years. This respectable age is not surprising in vines, as Armenia is one of few countries that avoided being plagued by the Phylloxera (a family of insect species) pandemic during the 19th century. In part, this is due to the high altitude that the country is at. Most of the vineyards are located around 1,400 -1,800 meters above sea level.
The vodka in our product range is very unique. We stock selected ultra-premium class vodkas, which contain very special components. Organika vodka, for example, contains three unique elements, such as Siberian Baikal lake water, 100% grain alcohol ‘Alfa’ and a Siberian larch extract.
Armenia is the country where the history of wine began.
“and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat… So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives… All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds – everything that moves on land – came out of the ark… Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.”
